Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") set out the conditions for using the iOS application "KEEPANGLE" (the "App") provided by Woo Chul Moon ("we", "us"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. The App

The App lets you photograph your own face with the iPhone's front camera at the same angle and size every time, keep a record of the photos, and compare them with their positions aligned.

2. Not for Medical or Diagnostic Use

  1. The App is not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat or prevent any disease or skin condition, or to assess the effect of any treatment.
  2. How your photos look varies with shooting conditions such as light, distance, angle and time of day.
  3. For decisions about your skin or health, please consult a doctor or other professional. We are not responsible for the results of any decision or action you take based on the photos or anything shown in the App.

3. Eligibility

If you are a minor, please use the App with the consent of a parent or guardian.

4. Free Trial and Purchase

  1. All features of the App are available free of charge for 14 days from the day you tap "Get Started" after the first shooting environment guide.
  2. After the free trial ends, taking new photos requires the in-app purchase "KEEPANGLE Full Access". Viewing, comparing and sharing the photos you have already taken, and photo notes, remain available without purchasing.
  3. "KEEPANGLE Full Access" is a one-time purchase that can be used permanently. The price is as displayed on the App Store. There is no monthly or annual charge.
  4. After changing devices or reinstalling, you can restore your purchase from "Restore Purchase" in the App. Restoring requires the same Apple account used for the purchase.
  5. All billing and refund procedures are governed by Apple. We are unable to provide individual refunds. If Apple refunds your purchase, the purchase is revoked and, as after the free trial ends, you can no longer take new photos. Photos you have already taken are not deleted.

5. Ownership and Storage of Your Photos and Records

  1. All rights, including copyright, in the photos you take with the App, your photo notes and your settings belong to you.
  2. Your photos and their records are stored only on your device. We do not receive or store them and cannot view them.
  3. If your photos or records are lost due to device failure, loss, reset, deletion of the App or similar, we cannot restore them. If iCloud Backup is turned on for your iPhone, your photos and records are included in the backup through Apple's mechanisms.
  4. The start date of your free trial is stored on your device and in your iCloud (Apple's key-value storage). We cannot view it.

6. Sharing Photos

  1. Only when you choose to share, the App passes an aligned photo to the iOS share sheet. You choose where it is sent.
  2. Photos are personal information. You are responsible for deciding where you send or post them. We are not responsible for how shared photos are handled at their destination.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  1. violate any law or public order and morals;
  2. decompile or reverse engineer the App;
  3. use the App's features in a way we do not intend;
  4. infringe the portrait rights, privacy or other rights of others (including photographing others or sharing their photos without their consent); or
  5. engage in any other conduct we consider inappropriate.

8. Changes, Suspension and Termination

  1. We may change the App, or suspend or terminate its provision, without prior notice.
  2. We are not responsible for any damage you suffer as a result of the above. However, if the App is to be permanently discontinued, we will make reasonable efforts to give advance notice.

9. Disclaimer

  1. We do not warrant that the App will meet your particular purpose, that it will have the functions, value or accuracy you expect, or that it will be free from errors or defects.
  2. We are not responsible for any damage you suffer from using the App, except where caused by our wilful misconduct or gross negligence.
  3. Even in the case described in the preceding sentence, our liability is limited to the total amount you have paid for the App.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may change these Terms when we consider it necessary. The revised Terms take effect when posted on this page. We will notify you of material changes in the App or on this page.

11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.
  2. Any dispute relating to the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the court having jurisdiction over our location.
